Y-pipes And strut bars

I was wondering, those of you that own warpspeed y-pipes, how are they holding up, being aluminium and not stainless steel? Any rusting, and do you live in snowy, salty areas where the conditions would get it them. Thanks

Also is there a strut bar that really does the job good, or is really any of those ebay ones good? like this one..

I got my FSTB off of ebay and love it. No problems, makes a big difference. Sorry, I don't remember who I got it from though.

I got my FSTB off of ebay but i was sent a defective one. The bolt on one side wouldn't twist at all because the threading could have been damaged. I email the seller and they told me to "send a picture" of it to them. ??? Send a picture? I didn't know what the picture will tell them since you can't see the threading. But anyways, I was ****ed so I just took a vice script and a screwdriver to loosen the thing up a bit. It's still hard to twish but Its on the car now. I feel a small difference but nothing drastic. I hear the rear sway bars are better and you can feel it more. I also bought clear corners from the same seller and one of the clears had a tab broken. It was kinda dangling so I superglued it. I forgot who the seller was but I think the quality control sucked.

i got mine off ebay and i didnt have any problem at the time or now. i guess its kind of risky. i would recommend the ebay ones cause a FSTB is not something you should spend a lot of money on. but a rear sway bar.....thats a diff story. they make a HUGE difference unlike the strut bar. i highly recommend rear sway bars to all maxima owners......its one mod you wont regret doing!!!

I have a stainless Warpspeed Y-pipe and have been happy with it. It took forever for me to get it after ordering it but that is another story...

Warpspeed does not make an aluminum pipe. It is steel with an aluminized coating which is protects it and prevents rust. I have another car with a full aluminized exhaust and it has been on there for about ten years with no real problems. The only areas that have any sort of real rust are the welds. The coating gets burned off at the weld.

All FSTBs do the same job. You dont need to spend too much on one unless you really want a brand name.

I got an ebay one, and I like it a lot. I had to use a drimmel on a little bit of it, but that is okay. It is minute enough that you could probably just use a file for a few strokes. (one of the holes was not quite big enough).

Check out this site where I got mine from. I would try to email the seller, or go to his website or something. I got mine for like $16.50 plus shipping, and it looks great! Nice and polished. They were really prompt getting it to me.
Here it is:

Let me know what happens...
