New tip for people installing reverse indiglo gauges! More light
I was installing my indiglo gauges today and I didn't feel like getting rid of the stock bulbs in the pod so I decided to keep the, but how would I get the wires through the holes and keep the lights? I figured it out! Here's what you do!
1) Take the bulbs out.
2) Run the wire through the hole where the bulbs was.
3) Take a file and gently (so you don't mess up the back of the gauge pod) file down where the slot is to get the bulb in (bulb has two pegs that stick out so it locks, file down where the pegs go in)
4) Put the wire in the filed area and put the bulb back in and you got yourslef a nice fit with all the light you could possibly want!
When I did mine I forgot to take off the covers on the bulbs and mine glows brighter than my friends who took them off! (hes got 2 bulbs instead of all of them)
I have pictures but for some reason cardomain isn't registering them, no idea, when they get up I'll post the installation pics for you guys! Enjoy!
