my injen CAI impression

I just got my injen CAI installed earlier. For all of you that already have this intake...how many problems did you come about? The fitment was a nightmare where the 2nd pipe bracket connects. I'd say my install job was a B- since the connection from the MAF to the first pipe kinda "V's. It took a lot of fooling around, but it was the best I could get it. I also had a couple of extra parts leftover from the kit...like bolts, zip ties, and that one nut that doesn't quite go where it should in the instructions. The instructions sucked too. All in all, it was a PITA, but it makes a cool sound. Power seems hesitant at mid-range.

Your injen looks like it's in very well. I'm still struggling on mine.

looks fine to me?
At first I had a hard time installing mine because I was trying to install piece by piece. Then I realize that it didn't align properly. So I took it out and put it together outside the car. Then the installation was so easy

I just downloaded the sound of an Porshe into a cd and then put the cd player in my engine bay and tied a string to the play button so I can turn it on from inside the car and I drive around and pull my string and it goes VROOM! VROOM! VROOM!

I'm not about to say it was worth the money, I haven't even had it on for a day yet, but it wasn't a smooth install. I got a polished blue color, it does look rather nice.

well through my experience, i had the midpipe and filter first, then the injen style cold air, and i definately like the mid range the injen provides. its not as much of a throw you back in ur seat like the mid pipe was, thats because i feel like the power is more linear throughout the powerband instead of having larger gains, the power is already up on the curve, rather than shooting as the rpms rise to about 3500.
