Pros - Harder to break down, lasts longer, and protects engine better than regular oil

Cons - $$$$$

Post it up in the oil forum and read the stickies there, they have alot of info.

Just make sure if you switch to synthetic, you use synthetic from that point on. If you switch back to regular after using synthetic, be ready to replace your engine. Synthetic oils are much better for engine lubrication. However, synthetic oil leaves a coating on your engine internals. Synthetic oil is so effective that it breaks down conventional oils. By putting back regular oil, it will come in contact with the above mentioned residual syn. oil left in the engine and be broken down, resulting in potential engine failure. Just keep this in mind.
