Recommended Clutch?

6 months ago I purchased and installed a clutch from Courtesy Nissan. I thought it was an OEM. I chose it for dependability. 5 days ago it developed a chatter. Last night it stranded me on the side of the highway.
Has anyone heard of early failures of these type clutches?
Can anyone recommend a good, firm, dependable clutch that won't set me back too much?

You probably got a Nissan Key Value clutch. These are (as you've found out) utter crap.

A genuine OEM clutch will meet your needs, as will an Exedy.

From all my recent research, I'd recommend the SPEC clutch highly, or an ACT if you don't mind a heavy pedal feel:

go with act or eclutchmasters, cheaper alternatives to OEM and last just as long.
