Stock Alarm System Problem!

Every since i got the car the alarm system never done this.

10 mins ago i was down stairs setting up a pair of Neon Lights under the Dashboard.

I turn on the car to test out the lights and it worked great. While the key was in the car, i opened my door and suddenly the alarm system went off.

Next--I close all the doors, lock the doors and opened the trunk with the wireless key and the alarm goes off.

When I unlock the doors. all the Lights goes on--break lights, ALL the interior lights, side eye lids and the gauages.

Now when i lock and unlock the doors it makes a beeping sound....never heard that before.

Did I do something wrong with the alarm system?

Thanks

Cigar Lighter.....I did tie wrap it around a small wire under the driver's seat....one black single wire that goes out into a small hole.

Reverse whatever you did. then try to wire from under the hood if i were you.
Nissan was very cheap w/ the wiring on our cars so you may have scrapped a wire somewhere along the lines..

I know exactly what you mean. Had the car for over a month and the Alarm never goes off unless i press the panic button.

I think i bang my head on the alarm light before and now the system is so sensitive.

But it never use to do that.....I use my remote to open the trunk and it goes off.

I unlock all the doors, all the Light comes on, the guages, interior lights, break lights, and fron turn and eye lids.

Where is the alarm system located? Flipped thru the manual, says nothing about it.

Oh btw, this car has an anti theft system. Is there a sensitivity setting somewhere?

I dont want to waste money taking it in so they can just push a button and fix things.
