Foglights no workie

I put in some MTEC ion crystal H3 bulbs into my foglights today, started up the car, and no light is coming out of them. What could be wrong? Everything is connect and placed back where it was before. They are the higher wattage ones, but people have used them before ok.

need help asap

well you could hook up a volt meter to the plug which you connected into you assembly and see if that is producing any power.. if that is not then you either blew a fuse or a wire. If it is producing power its the way you hooked up the blub or a bad bulb, examine the filiment. Not sure how many watts the new blubs are too high might cause it to draw to much current.

I had 2 Nokya artic white H3's and they BOTH burned out in less than a week. Stick with OEM.

You get power to the bulbs and they dont light? It sounds like the bulbs may be bad? (you DID see if there was 12 volts to the bulb, right?)

I dont have the tools to check. My other guess was maybe the fuse is blown...? How do I check for that? Where can I get a new fuse if it is?

I really want to solve this as soon as possible, cause if the bulbs are bad, i need to send them back, they have a lifetime warranty (thank god).

Problem is, OEM is too dim, I need something that will be bright to come close to matching the brightness of my HIDs. My stock foglights werent even noticable on the ground, my HIDs are too powerful.

So thats why I picked up some MTEC bulbs, Ive heard they work great, and I need the yellow/amber light to help in snowy, fog, and rain conditions. Its more than a need than a want.

Anyone have a solution to my problem?
