Why are you asking about HKS and have links the OBX....two way different companies.

 

oops... well... this is the website for a company in Morrisville, NC. (Close to Raleigh.) I just assumed that they used OBX as their name online or something. Any way... this shop offers the HKS system I am considering.

 

maybe he thought it was the HKS Dragger?? well aren't most exhausts out there for a v6 deep, and then u just have to get a muffler depending on how loud u want it....i think that exhaust if some what loud sence i haven't see it on some cars , its was ok for my taste. but then again my taste is nothing compared to all the other peoples taste's

 

I'm not one for lots of noise... I'd prefer to keep it a sleeper, and also not let my g/f know unless necessary... otherwise I get hehe... but really, I don't want to draw attention to myself with exhaust noise. I've been there with a tanabe, and a supertrapp on a CRX long ago, so I'm kinda past the ricer thing.

 

well most people here are about sound, look, and performance depending on the loos and sound, but me.............im all about performance, i don't care if its loud...then i can drive by my enemies house, rev and wake their hole family up just like they do to me . i've got a turbo N1 that is not put on yet, and im getting a turbo 3" y pipe and a non resonated b pipe, just imagine that....

Hahahahahahahaha! Well, I'm all about performance, but I don't like to wake up my enimies, or the whole neighborhood for that matter, with my exhaust. The whole supertrapp, raspy sound crap that I got out of the CRX is enough for a lifetime.

 

HKS only makes mufflers for teh max, no cat-backs.

yea i don't like the raspy crap eather so on my old max i stuffed the muffler with steel wool, and it was fine after that, it kind of added some back pressure to it so i got better torque out of it.
