I just purchased a CarSound Cat for a Nissan Maxima 1996 GXE. I went to a muffler place to ask them if this will pass smog and the tech said that this type of cat from car sound doesn't support odbII system and it will/might not pass smog because it might burn out the o2 sensor in the cat. I was wondering if this is true?

Got this from warpspeed, on the box it says EPa approved and all... so I don't know what to go on... thanks
