I'm going to check out a used '95 Maxima SE 5-speed today. It's burgandy with black leather, Bose, ABS, and sunroof. It has 114,000 miles...high, I know, but it's still 20K less than my current Max and he only wants $6500 for it. The other one I was considering was $9500 with 87K, so this sure seems like a solid buy. I'm scheduled to have it looked over by a Nissan dealer, but wondered if there was anything else I should consider. Does anyone know how much a QUALITY paint job would run? I'm talking a custom color, door jams and all. I need this info ASAP, as I'm leaving in a few hours. But I thought I'd see if anyone was online who could help. Thanks.

A quality paint job is fairly expensive. I'd recommend talking to your local body shop and seeing if they will cut you a deal to paint the whole car. Maaco won't cut it...
As for things to watch on a car wit that mileage, compression test, oil leaks, records, and tranny slippage.
