The RSB is a very practical modification and what I mean by practical is that it enhances not only performance handling but everyday driving as well. I feel ALOT more confident at high speeds and right before I take a curve. It's one of those mods that I wish I had gotten first.
My combination of Sprint springs, AGX struts, FSTB and RSB transform my Maxima into a different car. I mean the RSB really compliments all of my other handling mods. It makes the car feel like it is glued to the ground.

If I were to start over again, the RSB would be my first mod!

Did you install the RSB after you were lowered? I'm thinking of getting one but I heard that the RSB doesn't do much if you are lowered.

i believe you meant FSTB according from Dave B's thread awhile ago. he stated that he didn't feel a difference with/without his FSTB after his car is lowered, which was argued by many who aren't dropped (like me) that FSTB does makes a difference.

Someone lied to you. My car is lowered on sprints, I have the FSTB, and a RSB. I can take corners rated 25 mph at about 55-60 mph with no problems, no sliding of the rear end...or anything similar. Edit* Keep in mind this is on street tires!

Why didn't you do it yourself? $40 install? It takes like 15 min to install.

Install was done by one of my friends. I would very much like to learn how to do all of these installations for my mods myself, but I don't even have a jack to safely lift my car.
Anyways, my friend has 2 boosted maximas himself so I KNOW that he knows what he's doing.
If you're considering this mod and have the money, go ahead and do it. It's worth every penny and by far better than buying some B-pipe or UDP....

do watever it takes to start one. I love this mod. While my car was in the shop getting repaired, i was driving my mom's lexus and i couldn't stand the handling on it. Yeah, I know it's not an S2000 but still you get my point rite?

It's a progress from custommaxima, so it ended up being like $13X.
I'm surprised more people don't have one...

wow, i couldnt agree with you any more. it really is my personal favorite mod so far. and our maximas dont have that much great handling to start with so a RSB is a must for all maxima owners (IMO). if i were to start over a rsb would probably be my first mod too. i know i'm always gonna get a RSB for any car i get in the future, thats for sure.

How interesting. I was sure I was reading about how terrible RSB's are on the org just a couple months ago...how they were causing all these accidents and people were taking them out of their car, etc. Now I'm all confused. I just heard some good things about RSB's on torontomaxima.com too, so this is weird. Maybe I will have to look into that.

that is very interesting. i wish i could have read what you read, cause there is NO WAY i can imagine someone saying something bad about a RSB. all it does is give you better handling, how terrible could that be?

there was a thread not too long ago about this. They said that the RSB makes your rear fish-tail happy. In the rain, I don't really feel safe driving because on the freeway, I feel my tail going side-to-side. It's like it loses traction for a split second and then re-gains it back. But I only have maxspeed springs and stock shocks on sawblade rims. Imagine if the car was slammed, with aftermarket shocks and wide rims (8"). Better pray your car doesn't do a 360 off a little turn. Just little heads up~!

I can definately see how someone would lose control with a RSB. I mean it literally makes you feel like you can go as fast as you want around curves.
I know my limits and I'm not trying to prove anything by going 90 mph around a 30 mph turn. I mainly just enjoy the practicality of this mod, it makes driving more comfortable in my opinion.
