eBay Intakes

has anyone had any experience with the ebay intakes? i have a weapon-r hi-flow intake and now i see this CAI on ebay for $50. is there really any difference in intakes for our cars performance wise or is it all just a matter or more/less sound?

1. make sure ebay intake filter is real K&N, not "K&N style". the filter makes a big difference when it comes to horsepower, because you want the filter to induct as much air (without dirty) as possible.
2. the quality of intake piping is very important. they are some "cheap plastic" intake piping for sale. personally i can testify the quality of BOMz Racing. i have their intake both short ram and CAI both either K&N filter and JWT filter provided horsepower to the wheel. it was also examined by my friend, who is a very experienced GSR modifier also praised the quality of BOMz intake piping. therefore i say go for it.

conclusion: the quality of the intake filter and the quality of intake piping.
