Infinity Q45 throttle body...with PICS!

here is what i've stumbled one today, do you guys think it would work. I would have to custom make a bracket for it and hard wire the sensor..i haven't really compared the 2 like to sensors and all that but Q45 is like 3.5", yea i can stick my whole hand in there.............

I'm sure if you somehow rig up a TPS sensor from a VQ, it should work.

Bolt compatible? Compare the resistence of the TPS, idle through WOT, with the stock. You might be able to use trimming resistors to adjust... Did you get the MAF also? I am thinking bore size restriction there. Might have to mod that also.

It has no cam for cruise control, and the TPS might not work correctly. The 2001 pathfinder TB will work fine, all you need is an adapter plate.

It's going to be way to big and impossible to port match to the intake manifold. The intake manifold cannot even be truely port matched to the pathfinder 70mm TB because of the wall size. One good thing about the pathfinder TB is that it matches right up with the MAF which is also 70mm. The Q45 is 77mm and your intake path will be 70mm MAF, 77mm TB, 68 mm ported intake manifold.

To truly take advantage of this you'll need a custom intake manifold and an even larger MAF...
