ebay ingen knock off's

I've heard people talk about the ebay ingen rip off intakes but I've only seen the cai's that go into the fender. Can somebody please post a link to an auction for one?? Or pics if no auction. Thank you guys

i never seen that just the pr style ones that go into fender...every now and then u will c some1 selling their injen

This is the Injen knockoff. Most are the PR knockoffs though.

So it's just like the ingen?? Do you see where it goes from bigger to smaller?? is that ok? And do you guys think it's all three inch piping??

just to let u guys know , i wouldnt but a cold air intake off ebay because on some of them the map sensor has to be extended further to the ground and if it gets wet i think it will not be too good

is this true for this particular kit?
what id like to know is, will i need to purchase anything else to install this kit, ive installed hundreds of kits and never had to purchase anything additional other than like some washers or so.

Does anyone on here have this actual kit, or knows someone who has it, is installation pretty much straight forward/ is the kit worth the money. How does it compare to the Injen

for $150~ less than the injen, I think it's worth every penny. I have the real thing, but installation wasn't particularly confusing, I think anyone who is familure with the engine bay can pull it off without instructions.

ok.........i think im goin for it, it is a good price i mean all it is is just a bunch of pipes a filter and some hoses and screws, why pay 200+, ill go grab my wallet out the car and give my max a lil gift. Xmas is comein early this year..... or wait did it come late

the hose is going to be too small, what you can do is use the stock one from the IACV, and cut the stock one that goes into the valve cover and stick the new one that comes with the injen knock off into the stock hose, thats what i did, other than that, everything works perfectly its 1/4 of the price of the injen its a GREAT buy http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2463720493 here's one, its the same as i got

hmm, the filter quality on those has got to suck. If I end up getting that kit, I'd surely buy a new/larger filter for it...
its probably a 3" filter if that...

Yeah I bought the same kit off of ebay, one thing your gonna have to do, is move your maf sensor, to accomdate the pipe, I had to cut the little clips that hold the wires, so it would reach, then I wrapped them back up in electrical tap. I didnt use the pipe that goes down in between our raditor and engine, because I had a really hard time fitting it in. Instead I bought a extender,(some extendable plastic pipe) and fitted it in, it reach all the way down to the heat shield area, you can probably work into the foglight section, with some minor modifcations, and have a real sweet intake, as far as performance, I feel a difference, oh and you can hear that mother sux some air.
