What's the best intake?

What's the best intake? I own a 99 Max and was wondering which one would give me the best power gains. Someone told me that the Injen Cold Air was pretty good but I wanted to ask you guys first. Thanks for your help

They're all good (performance-wise)...a better question: Which one sounds the best?

looks are great, but a lot of the .orgers have found that you get better low end response from hacked air box. If you want high end, go ahead. I would rather have the low end and the torque, because we all do a lot more driving down under 80mph and 6000rpm....at least I do. I mean, I get it up that high, but not as much.

Ebay CAI! $50 shipped, if that. LOL That's where I got mine. Love the deep growl that I get when I floor it...which I don't do that often or anything ... Anyways, I love it; though I'm going to replace the "K&N STYLE" filter with either a real K&N or a MonsterFlow filter. I've had it on for about a 1k miles and haven't had any problems.

Again, the sound is Awesome! Hope this Helps. Take it easy.

very well said, i was thinking of going back to the hacked air box, but love the growl my cone gives, and low end was not a big lose but pushes great up top slightly better. Whatever floats your boat.
