evep control "valve"? if it's what i think it is, that is the box behind your drivers side rear tire. it's a plastic box about 6x8 inches. there is a valve bolted to the side with a harness on it. people have removed the valve, shot it with wd40 and got it going again. i tried this, but i couldn't get it to work properly . if that doesn't work, you can just replace the valve.
