Q about eyelids

Is it possible to make my own headlight eyelids by sticking on black vinyl adhesive that I have painted to match the car. Will this be durable?

The vinyl is but I dont think the paint will hold uo for too long.

i have carbon fiber vinyl eyebrow. I have had them for over a year and it looks still like they were new. I would do carboin fiber....cheap.....easy....and good looking
