thers a wire that goes to the front of the engine, i think 2 connectors on fed spec and 3 for calispec, goto the sensor the front right sensor and trace the wire up to see which one it is, unhook that wire by pressing the two plastic tabs no the fastener with one hand and push it out with the other hand, itll loosen the wire, to loosen the O2 sensor you gotta either use an o2 sensor socket or a 22mm wrench, haynes manual said its easier to get it off when the cars hot since the exhaust will contract. you have an option of buying teh universal sensor or the one with a connector. universal will require you to splice the wires. the OEM one is plug and play. when putting the new sensor in, apply antiseize compound so its easily removable if you ever need to remove it. i guess you need to unhook the negative terminal initially, then reset the ECU when your all done. someone please correct me if i said anything wrong.

Here's the diagram for California Emmisions. If you have any other questions, just PM me.

Mansurkx, you gave the directions for the front left sensor. The front right is the one close to the passenger side strut mount and by a spark plug. It's upside down, but you should be able to recognize it. It has 3 wires.
Paul, you gave the diagram for a cali spec. I don't know why, he has a fed spec. But I guess the photo can still be used. The front right sensor is the B1 front sensor on the top pic.
Just put the car on ramps or jackstands, unscrew with 02 socket or 22mm open ended wrench. Then get out from under the car and find the plug in. It's on a little metal tab, close to one of the spark plugs. It's upside down, so push down the the tab which is facing down, and pull it off. Follow the wire down, and you'll see a bunch of connectors. Pop them all off. Then remove old sensor. Install is the reverse of this.
