ripped cv boot
ripped cv boot
i looked at the cv boot this after noon and noticed it was ripped.. I dont get clicking sounds when i turn or anything. What would be the best way to go? Change the boot? Is it possible to just seal it some way? Any help is apreciated.
I just fixed the rip in my passenger side boot a couple of weeks ago when I was installing my new clutch. Luckily I caught it in time. I just cleaned all the crap out of the CV joint and repacked it with grease and slapped a new boot on it.

BAD IDEA!! Goto some independent mechanic. Way cheaper!
