Anyone's air vents rattle when going over bumpy roads? The vents that is right on top of the left knee of the driver or right knee of the passenger.

Mine was doing the same thing, here is what I did. I took off all the vents on the front dashboard. I then applied a light coat of silicone sealer to all the clips of the vents. Then "quickly" put them back in to let the silicone set itself. This has gotten rid of almost all rattles in the front, except the A-pillars, still trying to figure out how to silence those suckers. Hope this helps.

I have the same problem, its driving me up a wall!!
How hard is it to take out that vent? I'm going to glue both the vent and the pillar because I not sure which one the noise is coming from

This is an industry term. Pillars support the vehicle roof.
- the A pillar supports the sides of the windshield.
- the B pillar is between the front and rear door.
- the C pillar supports the sides of the rear window.

Some unwanted sounds in the A pillar may be silenced by removing the inside trim, stuffing the cavity with foam rubber, and installing the trim.

Are you sure its not the tweeters in the A-Pillar? I have a rattle occasionally/infrequently from the right tweeter in the A-Pillar.

How da hell do you get the vents out??!!

I just cracked one of the vents trying to get the damn thing apart. How are they suppose to come off? Are they on by pressuer? Or are there any hidden screws or fastners. Wasn't as easy as I thought.
