Yeah. I added a little rice today to the max. I hated to do it, but the Altezzas went on it. I will NOT post pics cause I hate the way they look. Only reason I did do is cause I'm making my LED tail lights the next couple of weeks. I will be soooo ready to get the red/clears back on. I'm going to smoke the entire lens in the back though. I want to just darken up the red a bit, and smoke the clears pretty good. Wheres the best place to find some tint spray? Anyone?

any local speed shop should carry vht niteshade. you can also buy it online...or you could pm dave b and ask him where he bought his more expensive japanese kind.

u should have just bought a stock set of tail lights, u can find them online for cheaper than alteezas.

That is my car, but those are not my tails. Nice photochop. ha ha. Nah. I've already got the tails out, and apart. I'm making the template tonite, and getting started on placing LEDs tomorrow. That will take about 2 days. From there, it will be formulas and resistors which will take only one night. Then putting em back together. I should be done by the weekend unless my days go like today has. This day has been just plain ****ty. Oh well. Yeah Jarrod. At least I called it out myself.

I hate these damn Honduh kids revving on me. It's a waste of time and gas. But I can't not show em up. Then I look scared. B.S.

 

OK. Just tested out a little board that I practiced on so that I don't screw up my tails completely, and it appears that I got it right. Sat down and hooked it up to a variable power supply, and they worked perfectly right up to 13.4 volts. 5600 mcd ambers. Don't worry. It wasn't all in vain. These little 15 LED boards are gonna be put in an enclosure and mounted on the rear deck of the patrol car with a flasher. Just wanted to work on something a little smaller before diving into the tail lights. That starts tonite. I'll keep you guys posted, and will probably post a pic or two of the small board I have here in front of me.

for the tint i just used some hobby lobby model tint (worked well). whats this i hear about some houston meets? what are you going to do with those altezzas when you're done?

 

That is EXACTLY how I feel. Altezzas need to be destroyed. They are so f.ucking ugly and do not go with the maxima at all.
