Hey I was just wondering if anyone has done this, like if I took it to a body shop or knows if its possible to paint the outer Chrome door handles and door moldings. My max is a GXE and I want to paint them the same color as my car like the SE. Thanks alot

 

or you could trade someone for their handles...

 

some people might want to trade you for colored ones....you should post in the 4th gen classifieds forum...

Oh... i guess you could try to paint it. Your car is black, it shouldn't be too hard. I like my chrome

 

Heck yeah, why screw up a good thing??? But, to each his own I guess.

 

I recently covered up my chrome trip with some black out tape from Autozone. It cost ~$5 and 1 roll will do 1 side of the car. It looks awesome from a distance but you can see where the seams are when you get close. It would be almost flawless if I had chosen better seam placement. I also have a test section where I just used electrical tape to see if it works as well. I highly recommend you trying this as it is cheap, easy, and you can always rip the tape off if you don't like it.
