anyone ever notice that when u have the cruise control on and ur cruising and then hit the brakes the cruise light blinks with the brake.. its hard to explain but basically if u turn the switch on and hit the brakes the light will blink once.. anyone know y??

mine's never done that, but maybe i've just never noticed it... i'll look the next time I drive my car

 

Keep the cruise on and keep your foot on the brake, it will deactivate. Its to let you know whats going on. Kinda like a warning before it shuts off

 

ah.. knew it wasnt that complex.. but just wierd.. i have always wondered since day one..

you mean the cruise light on the actual switch itself, or the light in the instrument cluster?

 

Mine did that after i put on my alt led taillights i think it is because the leds use lower volts and it thinks i have a tail light out? only does it when i have the cruise off/on switch on and when i tap the brakes it blinks once. And never did that b4 i put in my taillights so maybe you have a tail light out????

 

im runnin leds in the rear.. put i dont remeber if it did with reg bulbs in.. and it the light on the dash that says the word cruise.
