Rattling A-Pillars

Rattling A-Pillars
I have this problem when I go over cracks in the road, speedbumps, and when I downshift somewhat hard. Should I try double sided tape? Any other suggestions? How I take them off?

that would work. there's a tsb on this. all i did was take it off and re-secure the sound proofing type material at the bottum so the plastic couldn't touch the plastic.
there is a thing about 10" from the top in the middle that holds it securely. i used a flat head screw driver to firmly, but gently, pry it off without cracking it. it seems hard to do at first, but isn't too bad.
you could just wedge something small in the bottum to shut it up.

I used old rags. I pushed some pieces in there with a panel removal tool, but you could also use a butter knife. I know it sounds weird, but it worked great for me. I have not had my A-pillars make any noises since I did this a couple of years ago

Squeak tape is basic black double sided tape with a little thickness to it. Try your local hardware store or Home Depot and look for something similar. About the thickness of a quarter. An easier fix is to jam some dark cloth or paper in between the A pillar and dash with a thin hard object (like the butter knife mentioned above) to create some distance between the A pillar and dash and stop them from rubbing. This works great.
