Need Muffler Advice

My 99 SE has 107,000 miles and the muffler is looking pretty rusted. Will the muffler from the 5th Gen Maxima fit a 4th Gen? I hear that they are high flow, but without all the noise....some kind of bypass chamber that opens up above 3,000 RPMs. Anybody heard of this? Any recommendations for another muffler? I don't want anything louder than what I've got. My CAI is loud enough as it is.

Thanks!

You can find one in a junkyard off a scrapped 2k-2k3, or check out the 5th Gen Classifieds forum.
