Silverstars, Nokyas, Eurodezigns ?'s

I have Nokya Artic purples on my car and love the light output, but are purple and don't match my clear corners and bumper lights (which now have superwhite bulbs). I have seen comparisons with these three lights and I have some questions.

Do silverstars have any hint of blue? Does anyone have the nokya arctic white's? If so, how bright are they compared to silverstars? The Eurodezigns are DOT approved and come with a lifetime warranty. How good are they? I had sylvannia cool blues and they were not bright enough for my taste. Are silverstars the best non HID bulbs you can get for the max? Which lights would best match the superwhite bulbs?

As always, any information is appreciated, and getting HID's isn't an option.

Thanks

Silverstars are the best man, I hear people dont like them but they output the best for a non HID light. There is no blue hint, just a pure white. I wont lie though, save your money for hids....I am assuming you are looking for cosmetic looks instead of performance when it comes to the lights....HID's will make any car look like a badmofo in the night hands down.

eurodezigns are good....but it's hard to see wet black roads. Thats with all xenon type bulbs.

The DOT doesn't approve anything. So the "DOT approved" stamp on the lights don't mean squat.

The reason why it's hard to see on wet roads or in rainy conditions with "xenon type" bulbs is because the lights shine with a hint of blue or purple. Go with the light that shines with a white light - get Silverstars.

And I personally don't trust any company that can't spell properly and uses substitute "letterz" in their "namez".

Silverstars have a 1 year warranty, and they blow around the same time. They are not worth $40 for the pair. Oh and they are definetly not the brightest bulb. My Wagner Truviews are way brighter, less blue more on the purple side. They are somewhat an all weather bulb. Coolblues last forever but look stock. At least Sylvainia can do one thing right. Just give up on matching bulbs and having blue bulbs altogether. You will never win.

Unless you like getting rammed in the butthole, stay away from SILVERSTARS. They cost about 2x more than they should, they'll blow out on you in a year, can't see crap in the rain or when it's wet at night. Get some KOBA bulbs or something, they look JUST as white and don't cost half as much.

well I got 5 pairs of eurodezigns like 2 years ago, none of them have burned out yet.... theres a set in a buick, an isuzu, a cavalier, and 2 sets for me, and I still have the extra set...

From what i've heard, silverstars suck.
Theres no way i'd pay $40 for some headlights, I got all 5 sets shipped for $60.

I have had Nokya Artic White's and they are awesome. I love them. They are really blue and give off good light. I wouldn't use anything else. Silverstars suck they look like normal stock lights not a big difference. Thats just me though try out the Nokya's they are only $30 for the pair.

I've gone through 2 pair of silverstars in the last 2 years, they def blow in 1 year, but depending on where you buy them...autozone for instance, will say its 1 year, but as long as you keep the receipt they will just replace anytime, from what the dude told me the other night.

Nokya's were ok when i had bulbs, but either blew out or burned the living crap out of my harnesses. I also heard Kobas were good too for the price, but IMO, HIDS...preferably a Philips 6000k kit

those uses stock wattage so the chance of frying your wiring harness is slim. they also have high wattage versions if you want to go that route.

XD5's are crap and they are all 80/100 no matter what the ad on Ebay says. They will fry your harness or more likely blow out long before they have a chance to. Mine lasted about a month... never touched the bulb and in fact cleaned them with rubbing alcohol before I installed them. I would avoid these bulbs like the plague.
