Need a High Output Alternator - Anyone with Suggestions?

Please provide websites and testimonials. I appreciate all the help you guys can give.

Well with a higher ouput alternator, prepare to lose more power at the wheels.

Are you going with one because of current hog stereo?

more power from the motor is being used to drive a higheroutput alternator

Try calling www.mechman.com. They have great alternators with power rating given at hot instead of cold. Difference with cold and hot is that after runnig your car for awhile the alternator get hot too and the amperage output drops. So the rating that they give out is what you get for everyday driving not when you just warming up.

they might work well together at keeping stock hp but i believe they would tend to sort of cancel each other out to some extent
