whats the ticking noise

wahts the ticking noise, i noticed it after i changed my oil and the car was idling, is it the IAC valve?

I was told that the "ticking" noise is just a sign that your valves need to be adjusted. Friend of mine said it was very common with hondas and so on.

the listers need replacement
not worth the money for the whole job

mine ticks to, do the lifters after performance in anyway? will they lead to other larger problems down the line?

Timing chain tensioner? I had this "ticking" sound on my '95.

i dont believe u can adjust the valves on the VQ motors due to timing chain..not belt
