You may want to replace the front strut bearings at the same time. A lot of times they're cracked or fairly worn and it's easier to replace them at the same time.

I don't know how many miles you have, but you may need dust boots for the struts. To check look behind the wheel and it's a rubber piece that covers the strut!

You can rent the spring compressor from Auto Zone for free! I'm pretty sure you can also rent the tourqe ranch.

With Eibach ssprings, you shouldn't need new camber kit.Unless your car is going to drop 2" or more.I have KYB AGX with Eibach pro kit and it's low but no camber kit needed.

I have the same setup and you don't need camber kit.

what about if I bought Progress springs (1.7" and 1.4" drop) or Maxspeed springs(1.5" and 1.4") with KYB GR2's? Would I need a camber kit? I don't think so, because it is a similar setup to the Eibach's.

What if we're bringing out springs and struts to be professionally installed at a shop? Is there anything we need to bring or will they provide the dust boots and bearings, etc?

They probably could supply you with those things, but they will charge you. Its better to find out if you need it now than later.

1)do we need dust boots? If so, how much?
2)do i need to change my strut bearings? how much?
2)

Agreed, but I recommend doing it yourself! You can rent the tools you need from Auto Zone and the job is fairly easy.

I agree. If you have a friend with air tools the job is both easy AND quick. It took me and my brother-in-law about 2 hrs to do struts and springs. You'll want to check the condition of the strut boots, but I'd go ahead and replace them anyway. You certainly want to protect those new struts. Also, new KYB strut boots will give you a shorter bumpstop, for more suspension travel after lowering with aftermarket springs. I would also replace the strut bearings. If you choose not to do either of these things, they will almost certainly cause problems later.
