i doubt there is any warranty, and yes this is known to happen on lower end stuff, i'm surprised it happened with the brembo's are you sure they were brembo's? how bad are the cracks?

Yes you need new rotors and if they are cross drilled and slotted, it was probably done by a third party. They sell cross drilled rotors though.

One more person learns first-hand why cross-drilled rotors amount to nothing more than jewelry on a street car....

Welcome to the world of drilled rotors. People want that "race" look but don't want the "race" cost of maintaining it. Remember race cars replace rotors after each race. They don't care if the rotors develope cracks shortly.

never go with cross drilled cuz its weeeak. just think about it: taking out chunks of a solid object makes it weaker. yeh it looks cool but its not worth it at all. go slotted.

I have had the same rotors you speak of for over 2 years, have not had a problem. Maybe I'm just lucky. I've heard about all the problems with drilled rotors though, so I'll get the slotted next time.

all drilling/slotting does is decrease the strength of the rotor, and create an uneven rotor surface, which increases pad wear. Save your money, get blank rotors next time.

I can't agree that it increases pad wear. I have never had pads last as long as the ones I am using now with the drilled/sslotted rotors. I'm using oem pads.
