I just bought a 95 gle. User gave me no remote so I purchased one from ebay. I put the key in the ignition 6x and the hazards flashed. After that I have tried everything and no luck to program them.

The question is could something be wrong with the electrical system. How does it work... I know the car was in a accident 5 years ago where it was totaled and rebuilt. Could that have damaged the remote system? Everything power works except the trunk release on the door, that just clicks but the trunk does not release.

Any opinons or suggestions?
