I am going to buy a intake off ebay (cheaper) i was wondering which is beter to get, a cai or short ram in your guys opinion. Plus does anyone have a write up for a cai? thanks

Well its all about preference. I like the sound of the CAI, but I like the top end power of the short ram. I also don't feel like drilling a huge hole in my Max. This is what you should do. Buy the Bomz CAI that way you can have all 3 different intakes, CAI, short ram (Frankencar), and HAI (Stillen). Its the best idea yet.

i have a custom short ram w/frankencar midpipe and I honestly love the sound. With the weather conditions crazy where i am I didnt want to worry about getting water sucked through my CAI.


My short ram sounds normal, but once you hit it, it'll scream.
