HID Bulbs

Are these for real? 7000k look at 45/65w http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2467566797

Also, what do you recommend for headlight bulbs without upgrading to HID system? I have PIAA superwhites in there now, but they don't seem to be as bright/white as they used to (I put them in almost 2 years ago) then again, it may be my batter or alternator

My kokya arctic purples are 8000k. Thats just the color they exhibit. Alot of manufacturers will coat the outer lense of the bulb to simulate this lighting, but the brightness has nothing to do with that rating. I would suggest sticking to between 4000-5500k, since most superwhite bulbs show up in this range (sunlight is like 5200 or something close to that). Sylvannia silverstars fall into this range and many people like them. Bulbs that are white will yield the most light generally, while stock bulbs with yellow tint are best for the rain, because the yellow will shine through the rain better than most colors (reason why fog lights are usually yellow).
