Calipers normally dont "wear out" they can however become rusted/frozen up ect.

What problem are you having ?

Also, they can become loose a little which will cause your brakes to sometimes rub when you are not applying the brake. If you ever hear a brake squeal while driving, and you aren't pressing th gas, this could be the problem But if this is, hurry and replace them. i had the same problem but let it slide and the pads wore out and eventually chewd up my rotors.

The problem is...the pedal goes about 1/2 down to the floor before the braking actaully responds. I should feel braking w/the slightest touch...However, you can "pump" them up.(if you follow me) Meaning when you step on the bake continuiously, on and off, it will stiffen up for that braking instance!

THANKS
