coilovers with GR-2's?????

I have my 19s on and i want a bigger drop, blah, blad blag, anyways i am considering buyng coilovers because coilovers will not mess me up in winter.

Can i use coilovers with gr-2s? anyone doing it, im thinking of one of the cheap ones, either obx, ground contorl or somtingin that price range.

My gr-2s have about 5k and I just dont want to buy new shocks.

coilovers are usually very stiff. gr2s will blow if you put them on. ride quality will suck as well. you can use them, but it'll die fast. i say you are better off sell the GR2s for $200 shipped (or something like that) and get a nice set of illuminas for $415 shipped.

u should either go illuminas or koni yellows on coilovers.

soon or later GR2 will blow on coilovers. save yourself some $$ (by selling it and pick up some $$) and hassel (work on suspension twice) by picking up koni yellows and illuminas. if $$ is an issue right now, wait and be patient.

No, trust me. You WILL get tired of the stiffness. Coilovers suck IMO. I've had ground controls and they really made my car unbearable. Although coilovers wont mess u up in the winter, how often are you really going to adjust them?

I say save up for springs (Tein's, Progress), illuminuas/ agx's. Trust me.
