neither im not sure about... i got some retard that I work with thats got a 91 accord, auto, with a muffler.... and wants to race me in that.. HAHAHA... and he said he has two friends thats got a tiburon and a gti... im assuming theyre 5spd.. ill have to find out... ricers make me laugh.... alot

 

are those tiburons really that fast??? i hear alot of people who have nice cars that are reluctant to race a v6 tib. i think they have some with 6 speed trannys but i didnt know they were puttin that much power where a modded max couldnt take it.
As far as the GTi i know that the newer ones are pretty swift, ive had a run in with the previous gen and i walked him me being an auto and stock.

 

i've been a tiburon fanatic since when it first came out back in 1996 i think. the new tibs with v6 has only 170 horsepower stock and gt has 6 spd standard (usually) and it weighs quite a bit. im pretty sure a modded max could def take stock tiburon. still, i would love to have a tib someday~

 

i'm still a tiburon fan and i think that a stick max and a 6-speed tiburon would ba a good race. But if the tiburon is stock then u should be a ble to take him. I'm not to sure about the gti though

 

No, an auto max will beat the v6 tib. BTW, racing threads are a NO NO.
