there are a lot of places to get them online... i've seen a lot of them on ebay lately.. but $100 shipping kinda sucks.

you can do a search for fiber images cf hoods. there are lots of places that sell them.

redlinemax.com sells cf hoods

and there are several group deals in the works i believe on different kinds of cf hoods.

so check out the group deals , good luck !

im not sure but i believe the AA would mean a better quality, composite or more carbon fiber than a (A) but would also cost alot more cash.

Depends if you are going for show or street. On show, you can get the hand laid resin , for street performance, get pre-preg b/c the correct amount of resin is in the carbonfiber sheets. Also find out what temp it's heated and what PSI it's vacuumed with. Really, that's only if you are serious about performance, if the resin is distributed better, and it's vacuumed well, it's more durable and takes less paint to paint it ( saves on more weight) if you decided to paint the hood. A lot of details depending on what you want it for.

If your buying for performance I would not buy a 28lb hood, more like 8-12lbs . This is the weight I'm looking for. Save almost 40lbs
