maxima belts squeak?

maxima belts squeak?

whenever i start my car the belt squeaks like hell and for about a mile its squeak and then stops, is it the belt, they look fine and i changed one of them in sept.

Have you checked the belt tension? Could be loose.

Tighten the belts. I had the same exact problem, it was the most annoying sound I could bear.

Pull on them, there should be very little slack on them. To tighten the belt, there is a bolt on top of the tensioner that you tighten with a regular wrench.
