Bose CD Changer

Is there a Bose Cd changer? There is a cd changer button on the Bose head unit. I looked at the ones on ebay and emailed the sellers and they said it was for the factory radio only(bob-Bose). Where can I get an oem cd changer or one that will work with the cd changer button on the head unit???

Awww, guess you missed my post.

I too have a Bose System and search thru ebay and was very lucky. Found a guy who took out his OEM 6 CD Changer Addon and posted on ebay. E-mailed him and he offer $60 Shipped for it! I paid him right away. This Baby sells for around $299 online.

All am missing is the CD Changer Wire that is on its way.

OEM SPEC:
Maker: USA-SPEC
Model: SCD-N66E (E is for BOSE SYSTEM ONLY)

There is a guy who sells the OEM after-maket one for around $130-$160, it will still work. This is him:

I would recommend trying to get this, the plug looks the same as mine:

I have the same cd changer Cal0205 does. I found one on ebay for around a 100. It is pretty easy to install. I mounted mine under the passenger seat. No problems with skipping, and since it plugs directly into the hu (not fm-mod) the sound quality is great.

They aren't really on ebay right now. But keep looking.

Oh I'm gonna make you boys (and girls if there is any) sick. I found a Bose 6-disk CD changer in a Infiniti QX4 (2000). Pulled the unit and the wiring harness, and because it was missing the cartrige, got it for only $10 from the junk yard. EXACT SAME OEM unit as in the Maxima's. (Of course I put mine in the QX4, because I've got a non-Bose unit in the MAX) It cose me $25 for two cartriges off of Ebay shipped. So always look into QX4's at the junk yard, it will be under the frt. passenger seat, or I have seen the mounted in the rear compartment to you right (hidden compartment).

Indeed. QX4 == Pathfinder. The 6 disc in-dash is even better, IMO.

We actually just got a '99 Pathfinder, first thing I noticed on the test drive...that's a Maxima cruise control switch, heh.

Ended up looking random parts up in FAST, there are several that interchange.

BOSE 6CD Changer w/mp3 from a 2005 Pathfinder - $127 shipped. Bolts right in, but you have to drill a couple new holes in the OEM bracket if you want it to sit flush. I had one in my i30t back in the day, forgot to pull it when i traded it in on my current maxima. i am still pissed at myself, even 2 years later. my JVC gives me an AUX port for my iPod though...ftw.

The Nissan parts software. All of the images on Courtesy's site are ripped right out of FAST, to give you an idea.
