You might be able to apply some sort of clearcoat. Maybe even try polishing it?

Testors paint sticks very well, and unless you sit there holding the can pointing at one spot for a few seconds, then it wont drip.
Testors also has somewhat of a clear already in it. I noticed if you dont apply to man coats its VERY shinny. But as you apply more and more it looses its shine. All you have to do is wet sand them and their shinny and smooth as hell. My buddy did that on his 96 after seeing my 99 all-reds...

I just took out the outter taillights, laid some newspaper down, set the taillights on the paper and sprayed away.
Quite simple and effective, a hell of a lot better than orange I must say.

O ok because when I used tape to paint my inner altezzas some of the black paint dried with the adhesive on the tape. So when I took the tape off there was little bits of adhesive and paint left over, not too noticable tho. Heres some pics..

I use about 5 coats of testors and like 3 coats of krylon UV protectant clearcoat. I masked off the reverse light and taped arou d the taillight so i didnt get any over spry on the car. I use a hairdry to speed up the drying process a bit. I spryed them with the lights in the care still caouse i was too lazy to take them out. i was pretty lucky i did not get any drips, may caouse i used light coats. Let me know if you guys have any other questions. Yeah i wish they were more glossy!! i'm not use to seeing all red back thier maybe thats why i'm not sure if i like it yet. ThANKS for all the imput guys!
Oh yeah, i sparyed both the amber and break lights so that it match better.

That looks weird...
And yeah, your not supposed to let the paint FULLY dry. Only let it get tacky...
