Why is my clutch pedal getting soft???

What are the possible reasons for this...I just got in my car yesterday morning and the clutch pedal was really soft all of a sudden, with the release point closer to the floor than before. Help!!!

check how much clutch fluid is in the master cylinder. My fluid was real low and the pedal tension got very soft and the clutch grabbing point became very low. I just added more fluid, bled the lines and wah lah. fixed problem
