Blacking out Tail-lights

I wanna blackout the red on the rear lights of the car. I don't know wheather to black all the red or maybe just a little. If anyone has pic of their tails blacked out it would really help me.

testors is a company that makes model car kits and paint for them. ( model car collector here). not a good idea for cars due to the fact it is almost see through in that pic.

Happyrice looks excellent man...did you try it on your altezzas? I heard bad things about using the testors, that's why I steered clear of them. Some guy said it would start to fade a greenish color. Looks man..

nope, not on the altezzas cuz i'm trying to get rid of it (aka de-rice).

in fact my clear corners turned dark green. that's because i only used 1 coat on it. i'm planning to add 4 more coat and completely smoke it dark. but my tails turned out really good so far... we'll see if it fades later.

i got niteshades and tried it out on my fathers' 3rd brakelight from his 01 F-150. after it dried, the texture felt really rough. any of you guys have the same problem?

NiteShades sort of look dull on the lights.
