shaving door handles

i plan on shaving my rear handles, i was just wondering if i can pull the outer handle and still have functioning interior handles, if i can save my self the money from not getting poppers for the rear then, hey why not? i mean no one ever sits back there anyway and if they need to then i just open the door from the inside. so my question is can i just take out the exterior handle or do i need to mess with any components in the door to make the inside handles still function?

you should take out the handle, unhook the lock and weld the child safety lock open. you will still be able to open it from the inside. just make sure the safty lock is open cause if you shut your door and the safety lock is locked your screwed. make sure you take your time welding or you will warp the door. if you need anything else let me know.

yea i did the same thing, i shaved all four and only put poppers in the front(your back doors will still open from inside) and one time for some reason my back door wouldnt open, it was the safty lock and i got it open from the inside- you can reach the safety lock via inside- just so you know and good luck with shaven

Just do a tack on the lever I will try to get pics in the next few days. 95max on 18s did you pull or door panel off inside the car to get to the child lock. my panels are all painted and if it locked on me i would scratch them up so I just welded the lever.
