Don's VB is my next mod, but down the line, I'm also thinking of getting a high stall converter. How much does that run? I heard it's quite expensive. ~$1k? Btw, do you guys know anyone maybe running a high stall converter without a VB mod/shift kit? It doesn't have to be a Maxima, I assume that as long as it's an auto, it would have a similiar result.

TC from Level 10 is $698 without core exchange. TC from ProTorque is $395 with core exchange. From what people have said, they are the same. High stall TCs allow an auto to launch at a higher RPM (like dumping the clutch in a manual) where as the VB gives you firm and quick shifts between gears. Also, the lesser produces more wear and tear, but the latter reduces wear and tear.
