newbie ?'s in Y-pipe install

sorry to be a newbie, but i was wondering on the difficulty of install. I read the install in the HOW TO thread and they mentioned a O2 sensor socket, and i was wondering if this is needed? I cant wait to put it on, but i dont want the install to be full of trials and tribulations like my suspension install. any write ups or advice would be greatly appreciated.

no problem, we were all newbies at some point.

It is not needed. A 22mm socket will work just fine.

I've heard you can get an exhaust shop to cut off the bolts for pretty cheap. That might be worthwhile if you've got lots of rust (like I probably do).

Most will do it for around $10-$20.
