I just did a white-face install on my 97 I30t. Donor was a 97 Max. The gauges were in my 96 GLE and seemed properly calibrated, but I am worried that they may be "off" by a bit. Just an FYI- I swapped faces on the speedo and swapped whole gauges for the tach/temp/fuel.
Does anyone on stock gauges mind checling their idle RPM and 60 mph RPM in 4th and 5th gear so that I can check?
I know that the gauges were off a bit when I got the car due to a less-than-perfect return to stock by the previous owner, but I am not sure how off his calibration was.
Any help, please?

Check in the 1/4 mile forum for the 'Optimum shift point' sticky. I posted a chart with the RPM info you need.
