Ignition Switch Bulb Replacement

Can anyone direct me to a good write up on replacing the ignition ring bulbs? (99SE) I cannot find any info in my Haynes, and search is inop.

Thank you for any assistance.

remove the 4 bolts under the steering wheel and remove the top and bottom part that covers it. the ring should be able to twist off and is connected by a #74 bulb. it's pretty easy. shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes to remove and replace it.

5 minute?! First you need to remove the knee bolster, 2 phillips head screws and then pull the panel off to release the clips, unhook the door chime now too. Then there is a metal plate under the steering wheel, 2 10mm bolts and it slides up and off. The there are 6 phillips head screws securing the steering wheel trim remove them. Remove the top piece of the steering wheel trim. Remove the key ring trim piece now. The bottom trim has a huge U shaped clip type thing that hooks to the steering column, so push down on the U shaped thing and pull down on the trim. Then you can pull the keyring light out and change the bulb. What a fun process.

thanks for all the info guys. Is there more than one bulb inside? Only the bottom half of the ring is currently illuminated.
Thanks
