new body kit arrived!! woo hoo!!
ok so my skyline body kit FINALLY arrived and im really excited and im having the kit put on painted my whole car painted this weekend..well they are starting this weekend...but i was just curious to ask if anyone had any problems with the kit or anything like that..maybe something i can tell them to watch out for..and im not too familiar with body kit or body work...how exactly do they put the sideskirts on? and is it a direct bolt-on of the front and back bumper..cuz i took my corner lense of my bumper and tried to put it on my new front bumper and it wouldnt fit...i was also kinda scared too about that...this is also the kit from custommaxima.com...any help would be appreciated

if the body shop you selected works with fiberglass/ or body kits all the time you have nothing to worry about.
side skirts - they can use a glue like stuff and screws
from what i have read the skyline is a direct bolt on. this doesnt mean it will be a perfect fit though.
shops that work with body kits will have no problem fixing you up, they already know what to expect and what to do.

any body kit will have fitment problems spaces or gaps in certain parts of the bumper you cannot exspect the kit to fit excatly like stock w/out some sanding or filling in where the gasp are or will be all body kits come out of mold and in the process heat/cold things warp or get lose just test fit it and if you or the body shop see any gaps just fill them in or sand down the areas...you will see what I'm talking about...it will be well worth it in the end...
