hi everyone,

I want to buy a y-pipe but am looking for recommendations on where it can be installed near the Bay Area in CA.
I haven't found a site with step by step install so I'm assuming it's more than I can do in my garage.

thanks,
rob

Where in the Bay Area are you? If you are willing to drive to South San Francisco Turbo95Max might be able to help you. I don't remember his email addy off the top of my head, but if you go into the West Coast Forum you could find his email addy and contact him. You could also try doing the install yourself. Check out http://www.maximadriver.com/ they have some good stuff there.

im in South SF if you want me to install it no prob. We can setup a good time for it. You can try doing it yourself or have a shop do it for you. Im not sure how much they would charge at a shop. i estimate 50-80 dollars, this based on 1 hour labor.

Thank YOU

Thanks everyone for your help. I'm going to order a y-pipe right away (leaning towards the cattman).

Turbo95Max: Great. I'm in Livermore (east bay), but the drive is not a problem. I'll send you an email when I get the pipe in. My max is a 99 se-l.

breaux124: Thanks for the great link. What a wonderful resource. Definite bookmarker.
