Squeaky, squeaky, groan, squeak.. or something like that. Mine stil squeak on certain slow speed bumps but its barely noticable and they're wrapped. I HIGHLY suggest you do wrap them, if not it will sound like you've got the squeaks and rattles demon under each strut.

Did you use the Radio Shack wire rap, or oem, or both?

You can get wire wrap in the car section at WalMart for 2 bucks.

I'm on sprinties, and they are not wrapped. I've had them for the past two years and no noises.

OEM, I had 2 sets of stock springs to work with so I had 2 sets of OEM wrap.

Had Sprints without wrap, they squeaked and groaned over big dips.

Have Sprints with wrap, they still squeak and groan over big dips.

Keep in mind I've talking about steep driveways or speed bumps that I would sqeak on, not roadways.

I'm switching to Tein H-Tech's in a month, I'll see if I still sqeak with those. They are wrapped very well with a rubberized coating from the factory so it is very unlikely they would squeak. I'm beginning to think it's my ES bushings that's the cause of all this. :-/

Here is an update: I had my new struts and springs installed today (KYB GR-2s and H&R springs), drove home 200 plus miles and didn't hear a thing. I only used the oem wraps on the bottom of the springs that I took off the oem springs with 145k.

I've had Sprints, Eibachs and H&Rs over the last 3 years. I've never used anything other than the OEM spring isolators.

I've never had any suspension noise.
